Constipation

Slim ‘N Klenz is by far the most reliable intestinal moving product I’ve ever used.  No cramping either!  It’s been over 20 years in production – reliable!

Also check this out…http://www.nutraingredients-usa.com/Research/Omega-3-deficiency-causes-96-000-US-deaths-per-year-say-researchers.  Researchers say through this article,  Omega-3 deficiency causes 96,000 US deaths per year.

Regular bowel movement is the first step towards good health. Untreated constipation can result in Hemorrhoids, Anal fissures, Prolapse and may even require surgical treatment. The link between omega 3 and constipation stems from the fact that Omega 3 is the most natural and effective treatment for constipation.

Omega 3 supplements such as fish oils and flaxseed oil help in the healthy functioning of the digestive tract. Fish oils are rich in fiber content and act as a good laxative. Fish oil and other sources of omega 3 fats such as flaxseed oil help in the easy movement of stool through the bowels.

I suggest to clients that flaxseed oil is so highly beneficial in digestion.  I use it in my yogurt recipes, protein drinks, salads, and more….Request my food combination chart.

HCL w/Pepsin

Hydrochoric acid capsules are a God-send – didn’t know that for a long, long time!  After a few months of working with Dr. Steven “Kit” Taylor, chiropractor/neurologist, now out of Benson, Arizona, I learned that without proper protein utilization, the body will have joint issues.  I learned that by simply taking HCL  w/Pepsin, with protein meals that some or all of the body joint pain often decreases within minutes.  It’s a simple fix.  So by taking HCL w/pepsin every protein meal, joint issues run less severity in most of cases.  Even if I experience joint pain at an off-time, if I take a HCL capsule usually the joint pain will decrease or stop all together within minutes.  Most of my clients find that to be the same for them.

Also, a great new find is that there appears to be a strong link between having chicken pox and then other neurological or nerve related disorders in later life.   By taking the herb, Butterbur (with PA), there has been strong indication that joint pain including arthritis, sciatica, neck and nerve pain, even for migraine headaches has greatly subsided over 2-4 months usage of the herb.  The joints actually showed physical change in that the knuckles were definitely without question more level and flexibility increased.  It has been found that Butterbur is an antiviral herb, which of course would then set into motion creating more of a resistance to the insidious herpes zoster (varicella zoster, chicken pox as a child).  What a great opportunity to find Butterbur.  Thanks to my neurologist for recommending it!

According to Dr. Theodore A. Baroody, in his book, Alkalize or Die, his eloquent elaboration on HCL points out that HCL is vital for the body.  Also in other’s sites, his words and theirs point to the same, as in the following website dialogue:

The essence of this subject is hydrochloric acid (HCl), or stomach acid. This is the only acid the body makes. All other acids in the body are toxic acids of fermentation caused from acidity.

HCl is absolutely essential for life. Without it the body cannot make the proper chemical conversions to alkalinity.

The life-giving and life-sustaining function of HCL is to break down food as it arrives in the stomach. If hydrochloric acid is insufficient, food becomes a mass of poorly digested acid waste residues called organic acids of fermentation.

As most of you readers know, the pharmaceutical answer to this is antacids which compound the problem making low and insufficient stomach acid even lower. Temporary relief hides this fraudulent commerce. All the antacids do is to temporarily quiet the waste acids of fermentation caused by low stomach acid in the first place. The only therapy for low stomach acid or HCL is more hydrochloric acid, not less.

Dr. Baroody’s book can be purchased often through any health or vitamin conscious retail outlet or general bookstore or through http://amazon.com and I would highly recommend it.

Food Combining – Kinesiology Testing

If you want to see what magic this is all about, please request a FREE Food Combination chart and I will e-mail it to you.  Click here.  Easy to understand for beginners!

Weight loss issues?  I have a dear client who was seeing her next step as going into a wheel chair due to long stemmed health issues.  Ten (10) months later she has lost almost 100 pounds and even is beginning to line-dance (she is 75 years old) – feels like she has her life back!

So for her, the food combining chart is all-important.  Even if you don’t know about Kinesiology and may not understand your body’s sensitivity to foods or particular food combinations, you may still achieve greater health simply through observing digestion rules.

The rules have been “out there” for quite some time and if you can spend just a few minutes web researching, i.e, googling or using your favorite search engine, then you can find correct combinations which facilitate correct digestion.  If you would like a FREE food combination chart, please contact us and it will be sent to your provided e-mail address.

Because we have become a society of acquiescing to convenience, it is easy to pick up pre-made shelf items without regard to digestive consequences or possible body disturbances.

In lecturing to various groups, I have found it simple to demonstrate the digestive concept using kinesiology (science of muscle activation) showing both improper and proper food combining and the body’s response to both areas.  The testing shows obvious results that the human body does not handle certain foods together in the same meal, let alone the same bite.

Basic rule of thumb on this – the don’ts: don’t combine proteins with starches (carbs) (let’s out most regular sandwiches and the steak and potato ritual) – the do’s: ok to combine veggies and starches OR proteins and veggies. Just avoid completely the protein and starch together in the same meal.

And fruits should be eaten alone and at least 20 minutes before anything else…melons should not be combined with other fruits.

When the food is properly digested, things start to flow right.  Proper digestion becomes a way often times to achieve less pain in the body and discomfort.

Vitamin D – Deficiency/Symptoms

Check this wonderful article, found on http://www.womentowomen.com/healthynutrition/vitamind.aspx

Vitamin D deficiency may be characterized by muscle pain, weak bones/fractures, low energy and fatigue, lowered immunity, symptoms of depression and mood swings, and sleep irregularities. Women with renal problems or intestinal concerns (such as IBS or Crohn’s disease) may be vitamin D deficient because they can neither absorb nor adequately convert the nutrient.

Osteomalacia and Vitamin D

Posted by admin on under Osteomalacia, Vitamin D |

Vitamin D deficiency causes a defect in the ability of the body to deposit calcium into the collagen jello-like matrix in the bone.  As a result, the covering on the bone which contains pain sensing nerves is easily deformed resulting in throbbing aching bone pain.  Patients with osteomalacia often complain of achiness in their muscles and bones.  These non-specific aches and pains in the bones and muscles are often misdiagnoses as fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue syndrome.  There have been several studies demonstrating that patients with severe bone and muscle pain and muscle weakness associated with osteomalacia have dramatic improvement in their symptoms when vitamin D deficiency is corrected.  It takes months to years to develop osteomalacia and associated symptoms and it takes three to six months before significant improvement in symptoms results from correcting vitamin D deficiency.

Vitamin D deficiency will cause removal of both the calcium and matrix from the bone, and as a result, will cause osteopenia and can precipitate and exacerbate osteoporosis.  Unlike osteomalacia which causes bone pain, osteoporosis, which is porotic bone, i.e., holes in the bones and loss of bone does not cause bone pain unless there is an acute fracture.  Typically this pain resolves as the fracture heals and can be easily distinguished from osteomalacia.

One of Bushman s big concerns here in Green Valley is the high incidence of dehydration. I bet over 50 percent of the people I test are dehydrated (according to kinesiology testing).  (Green Valley News & Sun, AZ).

Lack of water can lead to many diseases, which contribute to pain.  I would encourage you to check out www.watercure.com.  It’s such an easy step to take and may I add, an inexpensive step as well!

It has been a strong recommendation passed on to me, that daily drinking half (1/2) your body weight in ounces and then add the ratio of 1 teaspoon of REAL SALT per gallon.  If it seems to salty or strong, I was told that one could start the process by cutting the sea salt in half, meaning 1/2 teaspoon per gallon.  Refrigerate the water and taste its new softness.  The body is happy to receive it!

I was told by my health professional to never use table salt and to be very choosy on your sea-salts, as they are not all created equal.  I muscle test for body harmony first before purchase (if possible) or use.  Redmond’s REAL SALT is my suggestion.  http://www.realsalt.com You can also pick it up from many health food stores.

Check out these huge benefits of using sea salt…and drinking sea salt is helping eliminate joint pain for many of my clients!

Natural Sea Salt re-balances entire body – explains the  book:

  1. Salt is most effective in stabilizing irregular heartbeats and contrary to the misconception that it causes high blood pressure, it is actually essential for the regulation of blood pressure – in conjunction with water.  Naturally the proportions are critical.
  2. Salt is vital to the extraction of excess acidity from the cells in the body, particularly the brain cells.
  3. Salt is vital for balancing the sugar levels in the blood; a needed element for diabetics.
  4. Salt is vital for the generation of hydroelectric energy in cells of the body. It is used for local power generation at the sites where energy is needed.
  5. Salt is vital to the nerve cells’ communication and information processing all the time that the brain cells work, from the moment of conception to death.
  6. Salt is vital for absorption of food particles through the intestinal tract.
  7. Salt is vital for the clearance of the lungs of mucus plugs and sticky phlegm, particularly in asthma and cystic fibrosis.
  8. Salt is vital for clearing up catarrh and congestion of the sinuses.
  9. Salt is a strong natural antihistamine.
  10. Salt is a strong natural antihistamine.
  11. Salt is essential for the prevention of muscle cramps.
